Details and Sizing
Will it fit me?
The Standard Length is little longer than a stock strap, perfect for using as a traditional neck strap or hanging off one shoulder. Also works as a cross body strap for most people up to about 170cm (5'7" tall).
Our Long Length straps are 25cm longer than our Standard Length which makes them better for wearing across the body for people over 170cm (5'7") tall.
This strap will work with almost any camera, especially larger DSLR setups with heavy lenses. It attaches in the same way as the stock strap that came with your camera, so basically any camera that has a set of 10mm webbing slots or rings will work! Click here for more info.
How strong is it?
We have designed these straps to be worn all day with the heaviest pro DSLR setups so you can rest assured they are strong enough. If you are looking for a weight I have attached 50kg (115lb) of weight to a camera without the strap breaking, but I hope your camera is not that heavy!
Any of our full leather camera straps can be personalised with a name or even a logo!
The personalisation is achieved by hot pressing the letters into the leather resulting in a timeless look and feel.
You choose the embossing options on the product page as you are adding the strap to your cart.
Choice of three fonts - Block, Times or Cursive
Multiple Colour/Finish options
Prices starting from just AUD$20 for initials only
Classic Chestnut Brown is an oiled pull-up leather which looks stunning, is super durable and extremely comfortable. Because it is an oiled pull-up leather, it has natural markings and tones which will vary from strap to strap and it also ages beautifully! Not only will it get softer and more comfortable but it will also become more visually textured with lighter tones coming quickly through the leather as it wears in.
Standard 53 Design
This design was our first camera strap and is by far our most popular strap of all time! The 'Standard 53' is wider, longer and handmade from soft leather so that you can carry your DSLR all day without getting sore.
Unlike our Simple range, the body of the Standard 53 is actually two pieces of leather which is glued back-to-back and stitched together for a lifetime of durability. We then add our embossed end pieces which are also glued and stitched to connect the 10mm webbing ends to the main body.

I'm one of those people who think a camera strap is not only functional and important, it also has to look cool. I never used to like wearing the Nikon logo around my neck. I had a Peak Design strap that I loved but it had a design flaw that ruined my clothing. I had to throw it out. I was forced to grab the original Nikon D750 strap delivered with my camera. I was surprised by the quality. Yes, these are excellent straps. That's when I decided to follow that path and got D3, D800 and D810 straps for my F3, FM2 and FE cameras respecktively. All of a sudden I no longer needed a strap that I could swap between cameras.
And then I spotted the Lucky strap and fell in love. I was doubtful about delivery from Australia and about the quality so at first I didn't order. But a few days later I ordered it just because I wanted it.
Delivery to Germany took about five days. It was fast and trackable. Perfect.
The belt is perfect too. The leather is neither suede nor does it have the regular hard, glossy top layer we think of by leather. It's soft and gives grip. I mostly wear my camera over one shoulder and it works perfect with this strap. It hasn't got really wet yet. But it's leather and I know how to treat it should it get soaked. Obviously I can carry several cameras at once - one over the shoulder and one around my neck.
The quick release is a bit more fumbly than with Peak Design. But it only takes a few seconds longer. The quick release also has a locking function that prevents it from being opened by accident or by a thief. In all it certainly looks more trustworthy.
Beyond that a leather straps just looks so cooool.
Simple, safe, and easy to attach/detach
I initially used OP/TECH USA strap but there are certain parts that needs to be attached to the camera, which is not convenient as sometimes I don't need the strap. Then I had used Peak Design strap for a few years but it requires too much force to attach/detach the anchor/strap.
I think this quick release is a brilliant design which is simple, safe and easy to attach/detach (as I have several cameras)
Product is high quality and the colouring is very nice.
The strap width is ideal when carrying camera around your neck for the day.
Delivery was fast and packaging was presented very well
It really is a lucky strap!
This is the most comfortable strap that I have ever used and in the last eight years, I have tried quite a few. I have a "chunky brick" of a camera, the Nikon D850, and this camera will test any strap. I have used the strap on three photoshoots so far. One for three hours, one for almost four hours and one for almost six hours, and the strap was really comfortable at all times. It looks good, it is really well made and it holds the camera at a comfortable, normal angle. Now I can't be absolutely certain of this but I have a distinct impression that my photography has improved quite a bit recently. Maybe it really is a lucky strap! Now if I can stop my photographer wife from ''borrowing" it everything should be fine.
Been waiting for something like this. Works just like advertised.
I photograph the night sky with long exposures and have had to either never have a strap, or have a strap that has detachable clips but still has ends that flap in the wind, or fight with the strap in the wind while trying to get crisp Milky Way photos. This is the perfect solution for me as it really does attach and detach so quickly and securely that it solves the problem. On top of that, it's a really great comfortable, and aesthetically sweet strap, with soft, wide leather.
